This is the beginning of GSP475. Throughout the next eight weeks, I will be delving into the world of Second Life and trying to discover what makes its users want to play. While I currently play two Massively Multiplayer Games, I already have a firm understanding of how those games and the players within them work.
Second Life is an opportunity for me to analyze player behavior and interaction in an environment which I am unfamiliar with. I can be unbiased with my observations as I have no prior knowledge of the games mechanics or features.
The first post addressing the questions in my project will be coming tomorrow, stay tuned!!
